Did you visit any of these sites? What did you find that was interesting? Do you have anything we should add to this list? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I really like having the websites close at hand to show students ans to see myself. The Photoshop tutorials look interesting. Do you find this valuable?

I tend to use some 3d stuff no "spice up" my projects, this is the program issue.
http://www.blender.org/

Free model repository here:

or here:

Its a very easy to use program, I would print out the key commands and combinations first if I were just starting out though. There are LOTS of them.

The Robotics class is looking to use 3DSMax for part of its competition. I think its required that they use it. But if Blender works as well, maybe that is something I should have put on the new image for the computers across the board.

I guess this is as good a spot as any - if you could add software to go on every computer in the school, what software would you select . Please - list what you believe should be on every computer. I am compiling all the data to help our district make its technology services better for each campus.

If you have suggestions for elementary, middle, and high school - the more the merrier!!!

GIMP, blender are the two that come to mind for me.

Another thing ive heard about: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jmol the chemistry teachers might like that. Only problem is it only available for linux currently. Which would require the use of some tool like vmware.

Ohh, and VMware :) Although it is a far-fetched request, it would be nice to have.

I like PaintNet better than Gimp. We put GIMP on some of the computers but its hard to use. I like Paintnet because it is more like the Photoshop engine. I will check out the vmware. Do you find this valuable?
